I'm back from USA after having passed a whole week-end at Los Angeles for the NBA All-Star Game (You should have heard of this somewhere in the news, it is one of the most popular shows that takes place in the Staples Center). I just gotta admit it, i have a real passion for basket-ball ... and i am a die-hard fan of Kobe Bryant and i just can't help being amazed seeing players doing dunks.



Alright, enough speaking, time for some great music.

Guess what, it's Valentine day ! So just to start, i'll wish to all lovers to enjoy their night. Personally, i don't really like celebrating this (and it's not because i'm single, if it's what you think) because i don't think that we should all wait for this special day to show the person we love some appreciation.

I spent my day just like a normal one except that i was gifted some pretty headache but that isn't going to disable me for gifting you some special freebie for the occasion.
So, for today, i'm giving away a second track, another bootleg itself (or an edit, whatever) of a Daft Punk track "Make Love" which i thought was the most fitting for such an occasion.

Back from Turkey, i'm finally back here on Filthy Strands.

I spent those 2 past weeks on the African land watching the people on strike. (And for real, that was quite spectacular)

Sharing their joy when they got the news that Ben Ali quitted the country ... and the presidency was such a great experience.

Humanoids, for this week, just to put yourself into the love ambience, just the sound of the day by a young producer just like M. Strands himself (a friend of his btw).

Yo guys! If you're on M.Strands' blog this certainly means you're in huge need of music :]

I know, I'm an addict too ^^ 

Well, we're only the 12th of February but I still wanna say: happy St Single's day! -...I mean, St Valentines Day! ^^'

So as to cheer all amazing single peeps out there, Here's a hot tune from The Grammy-winner T-Pain (he won a Grammy for the single he made with KanYe West "Good Life" and another one for the single "Blame It") and Billboard's favorite: Pitbull, who's out to bite. (His "I Know You Want Me" peaked within the top ten spots of charts in the UK, Canada, Italy, and the Netherlands.)

On their new tune called "Hey Baby (Drop It To The Floor)",  they collaborated with Sandy Vee who is one of the best French electronic producer who has worked with labels such as Pacha Recording, Ministry of Sound, Subliminal, Joia, and produced many big hits in France. 

Personally, I think this is one of their best collaborations, from the first note you're kicked in and you can't - or won't - want to get out! Seriously, This.Kills.

So, Valentine's Day is coming at great pace ! [still 1 week to go !]  And if I can trust what I've heard recently, M. Strands is preparing something special for you guys on that special day. So, no new mix from him today. I'm sorry I didn't prepare anything special for you ; seems like Mia's Saturday has been stolen ^^' Nevertheless, enjoy one of my favorite sounds by MSTRKRFT (pronounced Master Kraft) remixed by Laidback Luke with John Legend on the vocals. This week’s article will focus on M. Strands’ works with Mr. Vega and some other stuff. As you should know, Nicolas has been working with several amazing people such as: Revero, Sulto, Rama RivaL, Matt Sayers, Audiobot, Hervé Pagez and as I said, Mr. Vega.

.: With an [a.m.a.z.i.n.g] electro beat, some personal touch, and, of course Talent, Nicolas Strands and Mr. Vega succeeded in making Rihanna’s “Only Girl” listenable. This is probably one of the best remixes of that song.
